Singer/Songwriter Steven Gilbert Returns to Music Scene with Four New Songs, A Duel-Album Announcement and a Live Concert Series

Marietta, GA, October 21, 2018—One day after releasing his latest single, “I’m Far Too Good (at Breaking My Own Heart),” singer/songwriter Steven Gilbert performed at an invitation-only event in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, Georgia after a two-year hiatus from the stage. The performance—the first in Gilbert’s live acoustic concert series—included live premiers of four songs, including two never-before released songs, “Written About Me for You” and “Getting to Know Myself Again.” Both unreleased songs will be included on the forthcoming album entitled, Heartwork. The full setlist can be seen on the recently launched stevengilbertmusic.com

During the event, Gilbert interspersed his bluesy rock songs with personal accounts of loss and the redemptive process that are at the heart of his ambitious duel-album project. The first album, #drunk will be released in the spring of 2019. Until then, fans will continue to be treated to periodic releases from both albums over the coming months. With the Marietta performance, Gilbert also launched his acoustic concert series that will continue through fall 2019.
